These handy little wallet/purses are to be worn around the neck and they lay flat. Great for travel, dancing or just concealing under your clothes. The 1 1/2" thick strap lays flat on your neck and the pouch measures 9" x 8 1/2" with a top zipper and can be made in a variety of colors(we add/change colors frequently).
Jane Cook Wright, her father was one of the first black graduates of Harvard medical School and set high standards for his daughters .However Jane after graduating from medical school. In 1949 she was hired in a staff physician with public schools in N.Y. and continues as a visiting physician at Harlem hospital. After 6 months she left her school position to join her father. Now the Director of the cancer research foundation at Harlem Hospital. They began testing a chemical on human leukemias and cancers of the lymphatic system. Shortly after her fathers death she was appointed head of the cancer research foundation at age 33. In 1955 she became associate Professor of surgical research at New York University (NYU) and Director of cancer research at NYU medical center and it's affiliate Bellevue university hospital. In 1964 President Lyndon B. Johnson appointed her to the President's commission on heart disease , cancer and strokes. In 1967 she was named Professor of surgery, head of the chemotherapy department and associate dean at NYU Medical college. She became the first women President of N.Y cancer society. Dr. Wright retired in 1987. During her 40 year career she published many research papers. On cancer, chemotherapy and she lead delegations of cancer researchers to Africa, China, Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union.
